<p>For instance, North India grows a lot of wheat and hence North Indian food comprises naan, bread and chapattis made fro<span id="more-1104"></span>m the flour of wheat and is similar to the tortilla of Mexican food that is made from corn. Chapatti is a slim Indian bread which is prepared by kneading the wheat flour and rolled and then baked. There are a variety of dishes made from the same wheat flour with slight variations-when the wheat flour is deep fried it is puri and when less oil is used, it is known as roti and a thicker and bigger puri is called bhatura and when served with plain or stuffed potatoes, onions and a variety of vegetables, it is paratha.<br/><br/>
<p>In south India, the predominant food is rice, since it is the staple crop grown in abundance. The various items prepared using rice along with white lentil includes idlis and dosas which have attracted and become famous among people from far and near. Pongal is another breakfast item made from rice along with a dal.<br/><br/>
<p>In western parts of India like Maharashtra and Gujarat, the breakfast comprises of dhokla and sheera along with a cup of tea. Basically, Indian foods form a complete balanced diet and are healthy in nature. The essence of Indian food are the spices which offer a lot of flavor and it also varies from region to region and is used in both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes.<br/><br/>
<p>Usually Indian food is accompanied by pickles, pappads, dessert and chutneys. Indian food has also embraced cuisines that have been brought by the invading conquerors, for instance, biriyani has been imported from the mughals and has become quite popular among the Indian foods. This is a non vegetarian recipe and has been mastered by the nizam of Hyderabad. Tandoori style of cooking is a significant part of Indian food and is found in most of the Indian restaurants. Garam masala is a hot and furious spice that adds taste to these items. But the best tea is obtained in the eastern part of India where Darjeeling is known for it. Coconut and bananas are also famous in the eastern parts and are grown in large quantities.<br/><br/>
<p>India is a vast country with a lot of diversities and so is the Indian cuisine but can be adjusted to the personal preferences, as are the people of India who are strong and yet flexible.</p>

<p> If you are trying to stick to a diet, there isn&#8217;t an easier way than having diet food delivered right to your front door.  You don&#8217;t have to mess around with counting carbs, calories or points.  This is a stress-free and idiot-proof weight loss food system.</p>
<p>There are two parts to weight loss: Eating the correct diet foods in the right proportions, and getting enough exercise.  I find the eating part a lot more challenging than the exerci<span id="more-1102"></span>se part.  Getting exercise is simple; all you have to do is move your muscles around a little bit.  Anything can be considered exercise, whether it is dancing, playing sports, running, hiking, even walking!  The idea is to just pile on as much exercise as possible.  You don&#8217;t have to be a scientist to create an exercise plan that will help aid in your weight loss.</p>
<p>The more difficult part is figuring out exactly what foods you should be eating that will help you lose weight.  There are so many different diets and so many different nutrients.  You need to keep track of calories, carbs, sugar, fat, fiber, vitamins, etc.  It very quickly becomes overwhelming.  Then you are faced with the difficult task of picking exactly what foods you are going to buy, figuring out how much you should be eating each day, and then sometimes actually cooking the meals.  Then you have to factor in snack foods, desserts, eating out, drinks, etc.  It all adds up to a nightmare that is often impossible to sort out.</p>
<p>Thankfully, there are some systems that help make it a little more simple.  The first step is to simply pick a diet system.  You can choose a points-based system such as weight watchers which allows you to eat whatever you want.  The only catch is that every food has a &#8220;points&#8221; value that is based on the calories, fat and fiber in each food.  You only get so many points to eat in a day, so it helps you make wise diet food choices.  The problem is in keeping track of all your points and using the points calculator to figure out exactly how many points are in each food.</p>
<p>Another system could be something like the Atkins diet or some sort of low-carb diet.  The only problem with this is that there are rumors of heart problems relating to diets like this.  The idea is that you completely eliminate any foods with carbs in them.  This diet is proven to work, but the problem comes in figuring out which foods have carbs.  It seems that almost any food has carbs in it, so you are really limited in terms of what you are allowed to eat.</p>
<p>Finally, what I found to be the least stressful is having diet food delivered right to your door.  Sign up for a program and they will send you all the food that you need to eat for a month.  When you need a meal, just heat and eat.  This system is a no-brainer.  Just stick to the food that is ready for you to eat and you will have your dieting side of the weight loss equation in check.  Throw in some physical activity and the pounds will start falling off.</p>

<p>Meats are available in meals and desserts are served along with a cup of coffee or tea. Coffee takes a unique place in the Cuban culture and drinking coffee is done as rituals or social events. The after dinner Cuban coffee is prepared in an espresso maker or perked on a stove top.<br/><br/>
<p>Cuban desserts are the sweetest in the world. Cuban sandwiches are made with Cuban bread that is slightly roasted and contains roast pork, ham pickles and cheese and mustard and make a delicious lunch food. Costillitas is a typical Cuban food made with citrus, garlic and herbs and cooked till tender and served with black bean and rice. Ropa vieja is one of the most popular dishes of Cuba, made from beef and vegetables in a sauce and locals say that it tastes better a day after preparation when the flavors mingle together.
